Your Dining Reservations

Once you set a date for your trip to Walt Disney World Resort, that's the best time to reserve your resort hotel room. The next priority is planning your dining reservations. During slower seasons such as from the beginning of January to early February and from mid-September to mid-November, you may not have any problems getting the reservations you want. However, the sooner you make all your dining reservations the better, and the less likely you will be disappointed especially if you want to dine where the Disney characters come around to your table to greet you and have a picture taken with you and members of your family. My best advice is to make your character dining reservations first; then you can make any other dining reservations soon after. There are currently 62 restaurants throughout the parks and resort hotels. The meals are served in 3 different ways: Buffet: You can choose from a variety of foods at breakfast, lunch or dinner time. Family Style: A server will bring food to your table served in bowls, plates and skillets. You serve yourself and pass the bowls, plates and skillets around the table. Pre-plated Meals: Meals are served to each guest and each plate includes the same meal. Most restaurants provide you with 'all you can eat' at a fixed price. You can ask your server for second servings at family style and pre-plated dining.
